Whole House "Big Blue" Sediment Filters

   Our sediment filters are made of fine polypropylene that has been melted and spun to form a cylinder. The main function of a sediment filter is to remove both small and large particles such as dirt, sand, silt and rust particles from the source water. Each cartridge is individually shrink-wrapped, meets Universal Industry Standards and is compatible with all standard filter housings. Contains no binders, agents, solvents, antistatic materials or wetting agents.

A Gradient Filter? How does it work?

• • Outer Layer - large particles like sand and dirt is captured while smaller particles proceed deeper into the next layer. This process helps prolong the lifespan of the filter and mitigates pressure loss in your system.
  • Middle Layer - finer filtration- captures finer materials like rust and silt.
  • Inner Layer -  the highest level of filtration for filtering even the tiniest particles.

Compatible housings: almost all of the well known big blue, clear and white housings.

Ideal for a wide range of applications, including homes with municipal (city) or rural (well) water supplies, as well as a variety of commercial or industrial applications.

Filtration Lifespan: 6 to 12 months, depending on the quality of the raw water. Storage: Keep out of direct sunlight.
